Summer Holiday Boating
We still have some fantastic boats available for summer holidays! Getaway with family, friends or spend some time with just the two of you exploring our wonderful UK waterways. Have a look at our selection here:
Perfect for groups of friends or a family get together, a holiday on-board 70ft ‘Martha Ginger’ starts at the market town of Stone. A well-presented boat with a homely feel, the boat sleeps up to 6 people in 3 cabins and has 2 toilets and 2 showers.
A holiday from Stone starts on the Trent and Mersey Canal. Nearby attractions include The Wedgwood Factory, National Trust’s Shugborough Hall and Alton Towers theme park.
A traditional cruiser that has been lovingly restored to a high standard, ‘Rubette’ now has modern touches such as a box thruster and shore power. Best suited to those that have been boating on the canals or River Thames previously. Sleeps 2 people in 1 cabin.
A holiday on ‘Rubette’ starts at Benson on the non-tidal stretch of the River Thames between West London and Gloucestershire. You can visit Henley, Pangbourne, Sonning and Oxford by boat.
An excellent choice for novices, 47ft ‘Rebecca’ has a fixed double bed, 2 comfortable easy chairs and a TV/DVD player in the saloon. Pets are welcome, and the boat has a cruiser stern so there is plenty of outside space at the back of the boat. Sleeps 2 in 1 cabin.
‘Rebecca’ is based at Warwick on the Grand Union Canal. Local cruising routes have aqueducts, tunnels, bridges, villages and towns such as Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon.
A lovely boat for a couple, ‘Driftweed’ is a 55ft cruiser stern narrowboat with a super-quiet, low emission engine. The spacious saloon has a TV/DVD and 240v three pin socket for charging laptops and tablets. Sleeps up to 4 people in 1 cabin and a sofa double.
You start your holiday on ‘Driftweeed’ at Weedon Bec on the Grand Union Canal. Cruising mostly through countryside and woodland, there’s something for everyone with many traditional pubs.
Great for couples or families, 66ft cruiser stern narrowboats ‘Hazel’ and ‘Hawthorn’ have a reverse layout with the saloon and galley kitchen at the back of the boat. There are 2 cabins, each with their own shower-room facilities. Sleeps up to 6 in 2 cabins and a sofa double.
Collect your boat from Farncombe on the River Wey, which has pretty riverside villages and towns. In a week, explore the River Thames and visit attractions like Thorpe Park and Windsor Castle.
Brand new for 2021, ‘Bluebell’ is a luxury 50ft cruiser stern narrowboat with a light and airy feel. A great choice for couples or a family group with free on-board WiFi. The boat has a log burning stove in the saloon. Sleeps up to 4 people in 1 cabin and a sofa bed.
