Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Weeks and short breaks start at 12.30pm, returning for 9.00am and vacating by 9.30 on the last day of hire.
A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to confim the holiday, with the balance of hire due 8 weeks before your arrival date. If booking within 8 weeks of your holiday, full payment will be required at the time of making your reservation. Payments are made by bank transfer only.

Optional Extras:

Pet charges, per pet: £30 (max 2, payable on arrival). They are not allowed on seating or beds and may not be left unattended.
Fuel for Stove: A starter pack is included (enough for a few hours) additional fuel can be purchased at the marina.
Car Parking: First car is free of charge. Additional car is £10.

Boat Description:

Highlights: A comfortable narrowboat, ideal for a family group. Diesel fired central heating with radiators. 240v power (3kW) with nine 3-pin sockets throughout the boat. 240V hairdryer is provided on-board.

Saloon: Spacious saloon with a wood burner for cosy nights on-board, seating and dining table which converts at night to a double bed and additional seating. There is also a TV/DVD player and radio/CD player.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, microwave oven, fridge and storage space. There is sufficient saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. for the number of berths on-board.

Cabins: Two cabins, the rear cabin has a fixed double bed. The centre cabin has 2 fixed single beds. Memory foam mattresses on all permanent beds. Bed linen is supplied.

Bathroom: Large walk-through bathroom across the width of the boat with a full-size shower, flush toilet and wash basin.

Additional Costs:

Non refundable damage waiver: £50. This negates the hirer from any liability to pay for loss of/or accidental damage to the boat or its equipment, but not malicious damage, loss of equipment by negligence or return of the boat in an unclean condition, which will incur an extra payment.

Refundable security deposit: £200 cash/card at the boatyard's discretion for larger non-family, celebratory or younger groups. This is refunded when the boat is returned on time, clean and with no negligent damage.
