Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: The hire period begins between 2.30pm and 4.00pm (latest) on the start day, returning your boat by 9.00am on the last day of hire.

When booking more than 10 weeks in advance, a booking deposit of between £125 and £180 is payable at the time of booking (varies based on total holiday cost). The balance of hire (or full payment) is due 10 weeks before your arrival date. Damage waiver and fuel deposits are payable with the balance of hire, 10 weeks before the start date of your holiday.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: £35 per week or £25 per short break. Pet buoyancy aids can be provided at reception (with a £10 refundable deposit), subject to availability.
Car parking: £15 per week or £10 per short break.
Sailing Dinghy: £70 per week or £45 per short break.
Rowing Boat: £55 per week or £30 per short break.

Boat Description:

Highlights: Smart cruiser with bow thruster and twin sliding sunroofs over the saloon. Spacious for four two people but with accommodation for six in comfort. Good rear access and wide side decks (good for people with mobility issues). Single floor level throughout. Diesel-fired warm air heating. Fitted carpets (except in galley area). Radio/CD player, TV/DVD player, hairdryer, 12V socket for mobile phones etc (12V car lead required). Inverter provides limited 240V power with 3-pin sockets. Bicycles permitted with prior permission (please note that storage space onboard is limited).
Braemore should pass under all bridges at suitable tides (clearance is 6ft 10ins).

Saloon: Open plan saloon and galley with convertible dinette with table and comfortable seating. Dinette easily converts to a pull-out double bed at night. LCD TV/DVD, radio/CD player are all available in the saloon.

Galley: Galley with a two burner gas hob and grill. Microwave oven. Cutlery, crockery, saucepans and cooking utensils are provided. There is a small under counter fridge with freezer box.

Cabins: Three doubles or 2 doubles plus two singles. Fixed double in centre cabin plus either two singles or a double in the rear cabin (beds in cabin measure 6ft 2ins x 4ft 6ins or 6ft 2ins x 2ft 3ins for singles). The dining area in the saloon can also convert to a dinette double bed at night if required (6ft x 4ft).

Bathroom: 2 bathrooms each with flush toilet, shower and hand basin.

Additional Costs:

Non refundable damage waiver: £30. This frees the hirer from any liability to pay for loss of/or accidental damage to the boat or its equipment, but NOT malicious damage, loss of equipment by negligence or return of the boat in an unclean condition, which will incur an extra payment.
Fuel Deposit: £100, payable with your balance of hire. At the end of your holiday, the balance of any fuel remaining will be refunded to you electronically or any extra fuel used above your fuel deposit will be charged for on return.
Refundable Security Deposit: Please note that for all male or all female parties and for younger mixed parties aged 25 or under, a security deposit of £250 is payable on arrival instead of the damage waiver.
