Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrival is at 2pm on the first day of hire. If arriving after 4pm please inform the boat operator. The boat must be returned by 9am on the last day.
A deposit of 25% is payable, with the balance of hire due 8 weeks before your arrival date. Payments can be made by bank transfer or by Visa or MasterCard credit or debit cards. No surcharges apply for any card payments.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: First pet is free of charge, the second at a cost of £20. Please bring your pet's own bedding.

Boat Description:

Highlights: A 55ft semi-traditional stern narrowboat, ideal for couples or families. A beautiful narrowboat with a high degree of luxury. Once privately owned, Cassiopeia has a pristine paint job and is sure to be a head-turner out on the water! The inside is fitted out with a luxury interior with many additional, thoughtful features to make your holiday extra-special. Full radiator central heating throughout and 240v electricity ( if you decide to use any of your own appliances you do so at your own risk). PLEASE NOTE: The available cruising routes include the London canals and rivers. It is NOT permitted to enter the Tidal River Thames, therefore you cannot cruise the River Thames at all. With prior permission at point of enquiry, in exceptional circumstances for very experienced hirers, we can facilitate departure from Brentford to Teddington to complete The London Ring, a circa 3 week cruise.)

Saloon: Spacious open plan saloon area with a luxury sofa which can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. TV with DVD player. There is also dinette area next to the galley with two bench seats and a removable table, which can be converted into another double bed in the evening, if needed. There are decorative quirky touches dotted about the saloon and up to date glossy magazines for you to enjoy. A large selection of board games, books and DVDs are available to reserve and have placed on the boat, both for adults and children, if desired.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with large hob, oven and grill, fridge, plenty of storage units. Large roof hatch allowing plenty of light into the boat. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses and pots & pans are supplied.

Cabins: There is one cabin at the rear of boat with a crossbed double. Plenty of storage under the bed. Hotel bed linen is supplied, along with feather pillows, throws and cushions for a touch of added comfort.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with a wash basin, flush toilet and shower. Towels are supplied.

Additional Costs:

Stag, Hen or Non-Family Groups: Stag and Hen parties are not accepted at all. Single sex parties (excluding couples or family groups) will not be accepted without prior permission. At the discretion of the boatyard there will be a refundable security deposit, payable in advance, of £1000 per boat.
