Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: 7 night hire - commences at 2.30pm until 9.30am on the last day of hire.
6 night hire commences at 9.30am until 2.30pm on final day.
Short breaks commence at 2.30pm Saturdays until 2.30pm Tuesdays or from 9.30am Wednesdays until 9.30am Saturdays. All other short breaks commence 2.30pm until 9.30am on the final day.
A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to confim the holiday, with the balance of hire due 8 weeks before your arrival date. If booking within 9 weeks of your holiday, full payment will be required at the time of making your reservation.

Optional Extras:

Pet charges, per pet: £30 (max 2, payable on arrival). They are not allowed on seating or beds and may not be left unattended.

Boat Description:

Highlights: A comfortable narrowboat, excellent for two couples or a small family. Full central heating with radiators & airing cupboard. Carpeted throughout (except kitchen & bathroom areas). 140 gallon stainless steel water tank. 240v power and a 12v cigar lighter plug point for mobile phones, camcorders. 240V hairdryer is provided on-board and a cafetiere is available on request at reception.
WiFi is available - allocated on a first come first served basis (this must be requested at point of booking if required - a £75 refundable deposit is payable on arrival).

Saloon: Spacious saloon with a dinette which can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There is also a radio/CD player, TV and a DVD player in the saloon area.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, fridge, microwave and storage space. There is sufficient saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. for the number of berths on-board.

Cabins: Two cabins. The mid cabin has a permanent double bed and the rear cabin can either be configured as a double bed or two singles. Bed linen is supplied.

Bathroom: Two bathrooms, the main bathroom is located between the two cabins and has a full-size shower, flush toilet and wash basin. The other bathroom has a flush toilet and wash basin.

Additional Costs:

Diesel: The diesel used will be charged for on return from your holiday. The cost of diesel is set at slightly under supermarket prices prevailing at the time of your holiday. Your boat engine will use between 1.25 and 1.7 litres per cruising hour. In addition, your boat is equipped with diesel fired central heating which will increase diesel consumption when the central heating is in use. We estimate usage of approx. £10-£15 per day.
