Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Your boat hire will begin at 2.00pm*. Please return and vacate the boat promptly by 10.00am on the last day of hire. *1 to 2 hour's tuition will be given depending on experience, including going through a lock with an RYA instructor. You will be asked to supply your route plans in case you require assistance.
A non-refundable booking deposit of £300 is required or £600 for 14 nights. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the holiday. We advise that you should arrange your own cancellation cover as this is not included in the holiday price. Please note that the boatyard will take credit card details on arrival in case of damage or losses to the boat or it's equipment, fixtures and fittings.
Please Note: Late pick-up and early returns must be pre-arranged and are subject to a charge of £50 each.
Sleep Apnoia machines are not allowed on this boat.

Pet Charges, per pet: £25 (max 2)
Fuel Burner Pack: £35 comprising a bag of coal, kindling, logs and firelighters.
Car Parking Charge: £6 per car per night payable in advance with the balance of hire in a secure locked carpark onsite, max 4 cars per booking.

Boat Description:

Highlights: Geanna is a very comfortable 62ft x 12ft widebeam boat, offering spacious luxury accommodation. She has two twin cabins and one double cabin, all ensuite and two make-up double beds in the lounge area. Geanna was specifically designed for our guests & successfully combines a boating lifestyle with all the modern comforts expected from luxury 4 star accommodation. The boat is fitted to an exceptionally high standard, including central heating throughout and a traditional multifuel stove for the cooler months of the year, making your holiday cosy, warm and dry. Multiple 3-pin 240v sockets. This boat is fitted with WiFi - as the system uses the mobile network, the signal cannot be guaranteed.

Saloon: There is a sofa, dining table and two convertable make-up double beds if required. The saloon also has Smart TV, freeview, DVD and CD entertainment systems for your pleasure.

Galley: The galley has a full-size fridge, hob and oven/grill, microwave oven and dishwasher. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans etc. for 8 guests. Gusto coffee machine with pods. Eco-washing up liquid provided.

Cabins: Bedding arrangements: There are 3 bespoke cabins, all ensuite. Each cabin sleeps 2 and there is an additional pull-down high level bunk bed in the 3rd cabin. Two twin cabins and one double cabin (with optional bunk). Each cabin has a satellite TV/ DVD player, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities with an ensuite WC and shower. Bed linen and towels are included.

Bathroom: Three ensuite shower rooms, each with shower, electric flush toilet and wash basin. The toilets in Geanna are cassette toilets and guests are required to change and empty the cassette (spare ones will be provided) when needed.

Additional Costs:

Refundable security deposit: £300. On arrival at the start of the holiday, the boat operator will authenticate and authorise the hirers' s credit card for an amount of £300 and money will only be taken in the event of any serious damage or loss of equipment of the boat or for being returned after the designated time or in an unreasonably dirty condition.
