Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrival time is 3.00pm on the first day of hire. Boats need to be returned by 9.30am on the last day and vacated by 10.00am.
A booking deposit of 20% of the total cost is payable initially, with the balance of hire due 6 weeks before your arrival date.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: First pet free of charge. Subsequent pets welcome for an additional charge of £25 per pet.
Cancellation protection: Cancellation protection cover is not included, but can be offered to UK customers, if required.

Boat Description:

Highlights: Semi-traditional stern narrowboat with light interior providing comfortable accommodation for four people. Radiator central heating throughout plus a cosy solid fuel stove in the saloon. Full inventory of domestic items including washing up liquid, scouring pads, dishcloths, tea towels, cream cleaner and toilet rolls. 240 volt electric supply through standard domestic three pin sockets, plus integral hairdryer. WiFi facility included - top-up required onboard (signal cannot be guaranteed as it is dependant on mobile signal).

Saloon: The saloon has a dining area with comfortable seating which converts into a double berth, or two single berths. There is a solid fuel stove and a TV/DVD, plus radio/CD player.

Galley: Well equipped galley area, with a full-size four burner cooker with overhead extractor, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans etc.

Cabins: One rear cabin with a permanent double bed. The boat has storage for clothes with a wardrobe, airing cupboard and a locker.

Bathroom: One bathroom with a shower, wash basin and flushing toilet.

Additional Costs:

Damage waiver: A non-refundable damage waiver of £65 is payable on every hire. The damage waiver covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or its equipment (except for negligent or malicious damage).
Fuel: The boat is handed over with a full tank of fuel, and must be returned with a full tank. Fuel can be purchased at the boatyard.

What's Included?

Full tank of diesel and gas bottles - this will normally suffice for one week's cruising.
Bed linen and towels (1 hand towel & 1 bath towel per person).
Car parking (at owners risk).
Cleaning materials.
Tuition and buoyancy aids.
