Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrival time is 1.00pm on the first day of hire. Boats need to be returned by 9.00am on the last day and vacated by 10.00am.
A booking deposit of 25% of the total cost is payable initially, with the balance of hire due 6 weeks before your arrival date.

Boat Description:

Highlights: A 50ft semi-cruiser stern narrowboat with Barrus Shire engine. The boat has radiator heating throughout, USB sockets and 240v sockets for charging low wattage appliances such as mobile phones. A low wattage hairdryer is supplied on-board. WiFi is available on-board - as the system uses the mobile network, the signal cannot be guaranteed.

Saloon: Spacious saloon with L shaped seating which converts in the evening into a double bed. There is a smart TV and CD/Radio player.

Galley: Fully equipped galley with gas cooker (oven, grill & hob) and refrigerator. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans etc.

Cabins: Two cabins, the rear cabin has two single beds and the mid cabin offers a permanent double bed.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with a shower, flush pump out toilet and a wash basin.

Additional Costs:

Refundable security deposit: £250 will be required to be paid IN CASH at the time of collection of the boat at the beginning of the period of hire. This will be returned by the owner to the hirer upon satisfactory return of the boat and contents in good and undamaged condition at the end of the period of hire, subject to any deduction for any, loss, damage, late return or unclean condition of boat, etc.
Fuel: The boat will be handed over ready fuelled with a full tank of diesel. On return to the boatyard, fuel usage will be measured and hirers must pay for any fuel used. The average usage is between £10 and £15 per day.
Pumpout: The boat must be pumped out on return to the boatyard at the hirer's cost.
