Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrival time is 3.00pm on the first day of hire. Boats need to be returned by 9.30am on the last day and vacated by 10.00am.
A booking deposit of 20% of the total cost is payable initially, with the balance of hire due 6 weeks before your arrival date.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: First pet free of charge, then an additional charge of £25 per pet.
Cancellation protection: Cancellation protection cover is not included, but can be offered to UK customers, if required.

Boat Description:

Highlights: 60ft semi-traditional stern narrowboat suitable for family groups. Full radiator central heating and a traditional fuel stove in the saloon. 240v electricity, (max 1000 watts) please note that if you decide to use any of your own appliances you do so at your own risk. On-board there is a small travel hairdryer and a 12v mobile phone charging point (bring your own car charging lead). There is a hairdryer supplied. WiFi facility included - top-up required onboard (signal cannot be guaranteed as it is dependant on mobile signal). Boat plans are not drawn to an exact scale.

Saloon: Spacious saloon with sofa seating and a table, which can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There is also a traditional fuel stove for cosy nights on-board. There is a TV/DVD player and a CD/Radio player in the saloon.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, fridge with a small freezer compartment, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. There is a microwave and a cafetiere in the galley. Sufficient saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. are provided for the number of berths.

Cabins: The rear cabin has two single beds and the mid cabin has a permanent double bed and drawers for storing clothes. Bed linen is supplied.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with a wash basin, flush toilet and shower. Separate wash basin and toilet in-between the two cabins..

Additional Costs:

Damage waiver: A non-refundable damage waiver of £65 is payable on every hire. The damage waiver covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or its equipment (except for negligent or malicious damage).
Fuel: The boat is handed over with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Fuel can be purchased at the boatyard at the end of your hire.
