Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: The hire period starts at 11.00am on Saturday morning (please arrive promptly). The boat must then be returned by 11.00am on the Friday morning, in a clean and tidy condition.
A deposit payment of £350 is payable at the time of booking (£100 booking deposit plus £250 refundable security deposit). Full payment is due 6 weeks before the start date of your holiday.
We cannot accept bookings from hen or stag parties on this boat. Large same sex groups or celebratory parties should enquire before making a booking. The boat is insured against public liability and third party risks, however this does not cover you or your party for personal injury or your belongings. You are advised to take out personal holiday insurance to cover personal injury, loss of belongings or the cancellation of your holiday due to illness, etc.

Boat Description:

Highlights: Designed and equipped exclusively for families/friends, with a seriously ill or disabled member to hire for holidays. She sleeps up to eight, depending on the nature of disability (see layout plan attached) and the age of the passengers and is available for weekly hire (6 nights) by a family or group with one or more disabled or seriously ill member. Equipped with two electric hydraulic lifts for easy wheelchair access to forward and rear decks. Please note: electric wheelchairs are permitted but the recommended maximum width is 30 inches. A cratch cover (or awning) is provided over the foredeck for shade or additional shelter. The floor is fully covered to provide a non-slip and warm surface. Radiators throughout provide central heating. The electrical supply is 12v. A 240v 2kw supply, via an inverter is provided, giving a limited supply; a display gives the supply status.

Saloon: Spacious saloon with sofa and removable table. This area can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There is a second dinette next to the galley, with can either be used as a single or double bed in the evening, if required. There is a TV/DVD player and radio in the saloon.

Galley: Fully equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, sink unit, cupboards, and all necessary utensils, crockery, cutlery etc., although you should bring any special needs utensils. Tea towels are provided.

Cabins: The cabin has double bed, which can have a single bed over. The boatyard can also put a single bed on-board, at the rear of the boat, if required.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with wash basin, toilet and shower. There is a second wash basin and toilet next to the rear cabin. Please note shower facilities are limited. More extensive facilities are provided courtesy of the Canal and River Trust. A list of available points is available on board.

Additional Costs:

Refundable Security Deposit: £250, payable together with your deposit payment. This is refunded after you return the boat on time, in a clean condition, without serious damage and with no third party claims against you.

Please note that bed linen and towels are NOT provided with this boat.
