Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrive between 2.00pm - 4.00pm (latest), returning your boat by 9.00am on the last day of hire.
A deposit of 25% of the total cost (plus cancellation protection, if required) with the balance of hire due 6 weeks before your arrival date. No surcharge for credit card payments.

Optional Extras:

Cancellation Protection: (for UK customers only) please request at the time of booking. Cost is £4 for every £100 of the hire charge. For example, if the hire charge is £950, the cost of cancellation protection is £40.

Boat Description:

Highlights: 55ft cruiser stern narrowboat, suitable for couples. The boat has 240v electrical supply and on board facilities include a vacuum cleaner and hair dryer. The beam is 6ft 10ins and there is at least 6ft 2ins of cabin headroom. There is sufficient gas and diesel fuel for a three week cruise and fitted with 100 gallon fresh water tank. Sir Ulfius has a "quiet" engine and a full gas central heating system for comfort throughout the cruising season. There is extensive use of hardwoods and matching oak and ash veneers, teamed with carefully co-ordinated soft furnishings to create a light, airy interior.

Saloon: Spacious saloon with 'L' shaped seating and a removable table. The radio/CD player and flat screen TV/DVD are also located in the saloon.

Galley: The galley is well-equipped and has an undercounter fridge with a freezer compartment, a domestic size, 4 burner cooker with an oven and grill. A full range of matching crockery and cutlery is provided together with and extensive selection of quality utensils and kitchenware including a cafetiere.

Cabins: Two cabins, both with a permanent double bed. There is a wardrobe and storage by way of built in cupboard and/or drawer units. Each bed has a high-quality, sprung mattress and is a minimum of 6ft 3ins in length. All bed linen is supplied.

Bathroom: Two bathrooms, both with flush toilet, shower and a wash basin.
