Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Your contract of hire begins between 1.30pm and 3.30pm and finishes at 8.30am, boat to be vacated by 9.00am on your last day. No later than 4.15pm arrival please.
Bicycles are welcome, please bring protective matting and security locks.
A deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking unless payment is made within 10 weeks of your arrival date, when full payment would be due. Cancellation protection is not included. We strongly recommend that cover is obtained from a third party.
All male/female groups welcome with prior permission, subject to a £100 returnable deposit per person payable in cash on arrival in addition to the damage waiver.

Optional Extras:

Pet charges, per pet: £20 (payable in cash on arrival). They are not allowed on seating or beds and may not be left unattended.

Boat Description:

Highlights: Tame Valley is a well appointed narrowboat with a cruiser stern and flexible bed layout, suitable for family groups. Radiator central heating throughout, 240v hairdryer and iron supplied. 240v electricity, max wattage is 1,500w. 12v cigarette lighter socket provided for battery re-charging.
On arrival each party will receive complimentary wine, a starter pack with tea, coffee sachets and biscuits, fresh flowers and a welcome pack with toiletries.

Saloon: There is a spacious saloon, with sofa seating which can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There is also a TV/DVD player and radio/CD player.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, fridge and storage space. There is sufficient saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. for the number of berths on-board.

Cabins: Three cabins, the mid cabin has a permanent double bed and the two other cabins can be configured as a permanent double bed or two singles. Each bed has a sprung mattress and bed linen is supplied.

Bathroom: Two bathrooms, both with a shower, flush toilet and wash basin.

Additional Costs:

Non-refundable damage waiver: £50. This covers the hirer for accidental damage to the boat, but not for malicious damage or negligence. Also excluded is the late return of the boat or return of the boat in an unclean condition.
