Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrive between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on the first day of hire, returning your boat by 10.00am on the last day of hire.
A deposit of 25% of the hire charge is payable to confirm the booking, with the balance of hire due 6 weeks before your arrival date.
Cancellation cover is not included in the hire charge. We strongly advise that you arrange your own holiday insurance cover.
Age Limit: The minimum age when hiring this boat is 25yrs+ .

Pet Charges: £30 per pet per holiday payable with balance of hire.
Bike Hire: £30 per hire. One bike (maximum) per boat, subject to availability.

Boat Description:

Highlights: The ideal boat for two - providing superb accommodation for a couple or a small family. Designed and built by a leading boat builder and well suited to the shallow waters of the the Basingstoke Canal. Full central heating & hot water tank. 240v mains inverter (max. 500w for appliances) with a USB charging socket for mobiles, etc. Please bring your normal mains charger to charge your phone. Razors can also be used but not high powered devices like hair staighteners. Low wattage hairdryer provided. Bikes cannot be taken on this boat.
Please note that the single beds in the saloon are suitable for children only, they are not suitable for adults.
*Up to 2 small dogs or 1 medium dog can be accommodated but if the occupancy is 3 or more it is not practical to take any dogs due the the lack of internal area.

Saloon: Comfortable lounge/dining area with audio system to plug in MP3 players, etc. Digital 19” flat screen TV with inbuilt DVD player. DAB radio/Bluetooth audio. The dinette converts to a double bed or can be used as 2 child sized single beds. Doors opening to the bow at the front.

Galley: Spacious, fully-equipped large galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, sink, electric fridge (4 cu. ft.) and a low wattage microwave. There is also sufficient saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. for the number of berths.

Cabins: The cabin is at the back of the boat and has a permanent double bed.

Bathroom: Family bathroom with large shower, flush toilet and wash basin.

Additional Costs:

Non refundable damage waiver: £75, payable with the balance of hire. The damage waiver covers you for any accidental damage, losses or breakages, as long as they are not malicious or through negligence. Also excluded is the late return of the boat or return of the boat in an unclean condition. Alternatively, a security deposit is payable.
Refundable security deposit: £250, payable on arrival by card or cash. The security deposit is fully refundable after your holiday, less any payment for damage, breakages or losses, if there are any.
Larger non family groups are required to pay £75 per head on arrival as a refundable deposit, instead of the damage waiver or security deposit options. This is refunded in full when the boat is returned on time and in a clean condition, without serious damage or any third party claims against you.
