Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Weekly hire is available from 1.30pm (for Chieftain) or 2.30pm (for Conqueror), with return at 9.30am and vacate by 10.00am for both boats.
To confirm your booking, payment of a 25% booking deposit is required with the balance of hire becoming due no later than 6 weeks before your holiday. For holidays taking place within 6 weeks, full payment is due at the time of booking.
Please note: cancellation protection is not included, it is strongly recommended that you purchase your own insurance to cover for unforseen circumstances.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges: Up to two pets welcome at a total charge of £20. Please bring a blanket or basket for your pet(s) as they are not permitted on the beds or seats.

Boat Description:

Highlights: A popular choice for larger families or groups of friends.
240V electric system with a 3-pin plug for low wattage appliances only (please make sure your appliances use a maximum of 150W). Cigar lighter plug point for mobile phones or camcorders. Full central heating with radiators & airing cupboard. Carpeted throughout (except kitchen & bathroom areas).

Saloon: Spacious saloon, with easy chairs, a separate sofa and removable table. The 'L' shaped sofa in the saloon that can be converted in the evening into a double bed with foam mattress, if required. Flat screen TV/DVD player, USB port, radio/CD player.

Galley: Fully-equipped galley with 4 ring cooker, oven & grill. Fridge with freezer compartment. Cutlery, crockery, saucepans and cooking utensils are provided. A cafetiere, t-towels, washing-up liquid and cleaning materials are also on-board.

Cabins: Two cabins. The rear cabin has a flexible layout and can either be configured as a double bed or two singles. The mid cabin has a permanent double bed. Double beds measure 6' 3" x 4' with interior sprung mattresses. Single beds measure 6' 3" x 2' with interior sprung mattresses.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with a wash basin, flush toilet and shower. There is a second flush toilet and wash basin between the galley and mid cabin.

Additional Costs:

Non refundable damage waiver: £51. This covers the hirer in the event of any accidental damage/loss or accident to your boat or its inventory during your holiday. Exclusions include reported or witnessed speeding; malicious, negligent or intentional damage to the boat, its equipment, the waterway, other boats or structures; damage to rudder or skeg, due to sill damage in locks; return of the boat late or in unclean condition.
