Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrive between 2.00pm - 4.00pm (latest), returning your boat by 9.00am on the last day of hire.
A deposit of 25% is payable, with the balance of hire due 8 weeks before your arrival date. Payments can be by Visa or MasterCard credit or debit cards.

Cancellation protection is not included within your holiday hire. You are strongly advised to take out your own holiday insurance as you will remain liable for the cost of the holiday should you need to cancel for any unforseen reason.

Pets: First pet free of charge, subsequent pets £30 each (max 3). Assistance dogs free.

Boat Description:

Highlights: 70ft cruiser stern narrowboat suitable for larger groups. Quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple controls. Full radiator central heating. Hot and cold running water supplied from a 200 gallon water tank. Double filtered drinking water system. 240 volt electricity with ample USB charging points (please note that if you decide to use any of your own appliances you do so at your own risk). On-board there is a hairdryer, 12v mobile phone charging point (bring your own car charging lead). In the saloon area you will also find a Netflix enabled Smart TV and Wifi throughout the boat. New soft furnishings and mattresses fitted in 2021.

Saloon: Spacious saloon in the middle of the boat with two sofa's either side of the galley, and removable tables. The two seating areas can both be converted into a double or two single beds using the fold down single in the evening, if required. There is also a radio/CD player, television and a DVD player in the saloon area.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, refrigerator, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. Microwave. Saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. for the number of berths.

Cabins: Two cabins either side of the boat, both cabins have two sets of bunk beds (8 in total). There is a small wardrobe for storing clothes.

Bathroom: Two bathrooms, both with a wash basin, toilet, and shower. There is also a 240v shaver socket.

Additional Costs:

Fuel Deposit: £100 per week, £50 per short break, payable with the balance of hire. The boat is handed over ready fuelled, on return to the marina at the end of your holiday period the boat will be refuelled and any difference to the deposit paid will either be refunded or charged.
Refundable security deposit: Some larger all male/female groups will be subject to a £1000 returnable deposit payable in cash on arrival.
