We regret that we are currently unable to accept any bookings for 2008 due to the closure of the canal following a breach on the 16th October 2007.
We have been advised that the closure will probably last for the entire 2008 season while British Waterways conduct an extensive survey, and implement an extensive maintenance programme to prevent future disruptions.
This means that unfortunately you will not be able to join us on the Mon and Brec in 2008 but it also means that when canal opens at the beginning of the season in 2009, we will not only have one of the most beautiful canals in the UK but also a canal that has had a lot of money invested in it, thereby providing a far better canal for you all to enjoy.
We have started to take bookings for 2009, and just by the amount of interest we have had so far we anticipate a busy 2009 season. Why not book now to avoid any disappointment and also to take advantage of our special offer of "Book now for 2009 at 2008 prices with only a £50 deposit**".
We at Cambrian Cruisers are very excited at the prospect of a rejuvenated Mon and Brec canal and invite you to come along in 2009 and see for yourselves what a spectacular and unique canal we have.
