General
Facilities: A comfortable cruiser with
a raised steering position and a full sliding canopy. Open plan galley area and spacious saloon. Warm air heating (heating is diesel fired, the batteries must be topped up before switching on for the heating to work (normal running 5 – 6 hours a day should suffice) and then the boat can stay warm for up to 5 hours in the evenings when the engine is not running).
Forward cabin with two single berths. 240v power supply via an inverter and 3 pin socket (1400W max). 12v lighter socket to charge mobile phone with the correct adapter. Please note there is no hairdryer onboard, you are welcome to bring your own provided it requires less than 1400W. Colour TV/DVD, radio/CD player.
Kitchen Facilities:
Well equipped galley with fridge and cooker.
Bathroom Facilities: Two shower rooms with fresh water flush toilet and wash hand basin.
*Free passage with this boat under Potter Heigham Bridge or Wroxham Bridge (bridge pilot fees covered) - subject to tidal conditions.
Price: The price includes
boat hire inclusive of VAT, bed linen, tuition on arrival, one outdoor parking space, cancellation protection, buoyancy aids and gas for hot water, cooking and heating. Please note: a minimum of two adults over 18yrs must be onboard. This boatyard will not accept just 1 adult (or 1 adult with children) for safety reasons.
Pets: One well behaved pet is welcome at an additional cost of £35 per pet per week or per short break, payable with your balance of hire.
Additional Costs:
Compulsory Damage Waiver: In addition to the basic hire price shown for the period selected, a non refundable damage waiver of £55 is payable on every hire.The payment of a waiver will free the hirer from any liability to pay for loss of or accidental damage to the boat or its fittings and equipment, but NOT malicious damage, loss of equipment by negligence or return of the boat in an unclean condition, which will incur an extra payment.
Single-sex or young non-family group bookings: There is a refundable security deposit of £50 per berth payable with your balance of hire, in additional to the damage waiver, for certain parties, including all male or all female groups and young non-family parties. The security deposit is refunded in full on return of the boat on time, in a clean and undamaged condition and with no third party claims against the hirer. (e.g. a 6 berth boat = £300 security deposit).
Fuel Deposit: A fuel deposit of £150 is required, payable with the balance of hire, 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. At the end of your holiday, the balance of any fuel remaining will be refunded to you by cheque.
Damage waiver and fuel deposits are payable with the balance of hire, 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday.
Payments can be made by credit card or debit card (we regret however that we are unable to accept American Express or Diners Club). Credit payments will incur a small handling charge of 1.5%. No surcharge for debit cards.
Boat takeover times : Collection of your boat will be 4.00pm on the first day for weekly holidays, 2.30pm for short breaks. Your boat then needs to be returned by 9.00am on the final day of your holiday.
Optional Extras:
Car Parking: Onsite car parking is available. Two parking spaces are included in the cost of your holiday and further parking is available as follows: Outside parking: £15 per week and £10 per short break. Undercover parking: £20 per week and £15 per short break (advance booking advised).
Dinghy Hire: Dinghy hire is available from Easter to 31st October only: Sailing Dinghy £55 per week or £40 per short break. Rowing Boat £45 per week or £35 per short break.
