Boat Plan: Semi Trad Stern

General Facilities: Semi-traditional stern narrowboat with light interior providing comfortable accommodation up to four persons. Colour TV/DVD and stereo CD/radio player. Carpeted front cabin-dining areas. Dralon upholstery. Centrally heated. Full inventory of domestic items including washing up liquid, scouring pads, dishcloths, tea towels, cream cleaner and toilet rolls.

240 volt electric supply through standard domestic three pin sockets, plus integral hairdryer. A full size four burner cooker with overhead extractor and spacious fridge with freezer compartment ensure the ample storage space will be put to good use. The dining and lounge area features a fold-away gateleg table and L-shaped settee which converts to a comfy double bed or two singles. Separate shower cubicle and flushing toilet. Airing cupboard and locker storage.

Price: Prices quoted are INCLUSIVE of damage waiver, diesel and gas, car parking (max. 2 cars per boat), buoyancy aids on request and towels for overseas visitors.

There is a charge of £25 per pet.

Collection/return: 2.30pm onwards on start day and return and vacate by 9.30am.

Please note: Whilst the costs of your holiday includes all necessary insurances for the hire and normal use of your boat, no personal or holiday cancellation insurance is included. It is strongly recommended that you arrange your own cancellation protection and holiday insurances to avoid loss in part or full of the cost of your holiday due to cancellation by yourself in the event of unforseen circumstances.

When booking: If booking earlier than 6 weeks in advance of the start date, you can book your holiday with a deposit payment of 25% of your total holiday price, or full payment if your holiday is within six weeks of booking. Payment can be made with a credit card or debit card (we do not accept Amex).

Minimum age: There is a minimum age of 20 years for any boat hirer. Also, in the case of some younger groups and at the discretion of the boatyard, there may be a security deposit of £50 per person on arrival in cash. This amount is fully refundable on return of the boat on time, in a reasonably clean condition and without any negligent or malicious damage to the boat or it's contents.
