General Description: Serenity is a luxury widebeam hire boat that is fully furnished, loaded with top-notch equipment, and has a stylish and contemporary layout that will comfortably sleep 4 adults in unrivalled luxury. Serenity has a reverse layout (Galley positioned to the rear) as it offers the most sociable layout of all the standard narrowboat designs. Adjoined with the Saloon, it provides a huge open entertaining space that is in close proximity to the rear deck where you will spend most of your holiday. The aft deck (stern) is where you operate the boat, but it is also an ideal space for entertaining so we have supplied a small table and chairs for a little al fresco dining. Either side of the doors leading into the Galley are storage lockers which double up nicely as additional seating and there's even a 'cruising step' to provide you with better visibility of the route ahead. A bike rack (for 2 bikes only) is also included.

She sleeps 2 + 2 - with a permanent double bed in the bedroom (non-allergenic duvet and pillows), plus a nifty corner sofa bed for two in the lounge. A fully equipped Galley (Kitchen) that is of a size that would put most apartments to shame. The Galley features a full size cooker and hob, fridge, microwave oven, granite worktops and even a wine cooler! A full size shower and low-level flushing WC in a spacious bathroom offering plenty of storage. Central Heating throughout with a contemporary diesel fired stove in the Saloon for added comfort on those chilly evenings. As well as the fold-away dining table provided, there is a versatile breakfast bar with two bar stools below for relaxed or additional dining space.

The latest audio/visual technology including flat screen TV’s in the Bedroom and Saloon (with Freeview), DVD Players and a DAB Radio/CD player with iPod dock and USB port. Stylish and modern interior featuring solid oak flooring and low-level ambient lighting. A 230v electric supply for powering domestic appliances such as phone chargers or laptop computers. All fuel included (diesel and gas). Free use of Christy towels and Molton Brown toiletries. Plus, your arrival will be greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and freshly cut flowers to set your holiday off to the perfect start. Mobile 4G Wifi.

Please Note: The Grand Union Canal, where this boat is based, is a 'wide' canal which can accommodate widebeam canal boats. The width of a widebeam boat restricts where it can navigate on the waterways as they will not fit into locks or through bridges on 'narrow' canals. Restrictions will apply and passage is prohibited through the Blisworth Tunnel or the Braunston Tunnel without our prior approval.

Hire Periods: The hire period starts between 3.00pm and 4.00pm on your arrival date (please advise the boatyard if you will be arriving later than 4.30pm). The boat must then be returned by 10.00am on your last day of hire in a clean and tidy condition.

Price includes: The hire fee is inclusive of VAT, fuel (diesel and gas), bed linen, towels, on-site parking, a compulsory non-refundable Damage Waiver*, buoyancy aids and tuition on boat handling and safe navigation at the beginning of your holiday.

*Damage Waiver: A non-refundable premium is included in the hire fee. This protects you from any liability for minor accidental loss or damage to the boat and/or its inventory during the hire period. Please see the Terms & Conditions of hire for exclusions.

Bikes: Two bikes can be stored in the bike rack provided. Bicycles must not be stored inside the boat or on the roof at any time.

Two Week Discount: Book for 2 weeks or more and get 15% off the total price.

Pets: We do not allow pets on this boat.

Single-Sex Groups: We cannot accept bookings from hen or stag parties on this boat. Same sex groups of 3 or more people should enquire before making a booking, thank you.

Holiday Insurance: The boat is fully insured against public liability and third party risks, however this does not cover you or your party for personal injury or your belongings. You are strongly advised to take out personal holiday insurance to cover personal injury, loss of belongings or the cancellation of your holiday due to illness, etc.

Booking and Payment: A deposit payment of 25% of the hire is payable on booking. Full payment is due 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday. Payment can be made by debit or credit card, bank transfer or cheque.
