Eurocruiser Viking 1000: The Viking 1000 is an excellent boat for two couples offering comfortable accommodation for four in two en-suite cabins. An ideal choice for exploring the waterways of Burgundy. The Eurocruiser range of boats provide a good all round level of comfort of space, featuring saloons with comfortable seating and exterior deck space. The galleys are fully equipped with cookers, fridges, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. All boats have hot and cold water, showers and toilets. Linen is fresh and clean and comes with blankets or quilts. One double and one twin cabin; or two doubles, two shower and toilet; two steering positions; saloon with galley, internal steering and 220v shore supply.

Additional Costs: Upon arrival at the base you will have to leave a Security Deposit of €800 and a Cleaning Deposit of €80 per boat. These are refundable if your boat is returned on time, at the agreed base, undamaged and clean. On return of your boat Fuel Usage will be calculated and usually debited from the returnable Security Deposit (approx. 6 - 9 € per hour).

It is possible to purchase a Collision Damage Waiver (non-refundable) instead of the Security Deposit if preferred. The costs are follows: For cruises of up to 7 days = 10% of Security Deposit, over 7 days = 15%, 15 days or more = 20%. CDW cover all accidental damage to the vessel (but not to other rented items such as bikes, BBQs, etc.) and leaves you free to enjoy your cruise. You may decide which option to take on arrival, giving you the chance to discuss it with your crew and local staff.

Optional extras: include:
One Way Supplement is €105 for Burgundy and €150 for the Midi. (To be paid with the balance of hire 8 weeks before departure).
Car Transfer: €95 for Burgundy or €160 for Midi. One Way and Car Transfer options only apply if you are taking a one way cruise.  
Map: €25; Bicycles: €40 each/week; Pets:€35 each/week; BBQ: €25/week; Parasol: €10/week
Parking: €50 covered parking (reservation necessary) or €35 enclosed parking.
Payment for extras on arrival can be either in cash (euros) or by Credit Card.

Hire Times: All bases offer Friday, Saturday and Monday start days, with pick-up being after 15.00hrs and return by 09.00hrs. Other days may be available by arrangement.

A Booking Deposit of 30% of the hire charge is payable on confirmation of your booking. You will then be sent the Confirmation and booking Invoice by email. The Balance of Hire is due 8 weeks prior to departure. For reservations made less than 8 weeks prior to the departure date the total sum of the holiday package is due upon confirmation. As you are booking with a French registered company, credit card payments are taken in euros, which are at the prevailing rate of exchange; as such the payment becomes an international transaction. Alternatively payment can be made in sterling into their French bank account (the details of which will be given) which is set up to specifically accept bank transfers in Sterling, but this account cannot accept sterling payments by credit card.
